Add ½ teaspoon of SpaEase Chlorine Granules for every 100 gallons of water and maintain a chlorine level between 3 to 5 ppm. Depending on usage you should be adding chlorine approximately every other day. These levels can be reduced to 1 to 3 ppm with the use of a Mineral Purifier.
For best results add 2 ounces of Spa Activator each time after using your hot tub.

For regular use place one SpaEase Bromine Tablet per every 100 gallons of water (3 Tablets for a 300-gallon spa) into Bromine Floating Dispenser with valve fully open and maintain a bromine level between 3 to 5 ppm and refill dispenser about once a week. These levels can be reduced to 1 to 3 ppm with the use of a Mineral Purifier, simply close the valve on dispenser to half open which will also reduce the frequency of adding new tablets.

Sanitizing with Bromine
The BENEFIT TO CHLORINE is that it begins sanitizing and reaching a proper ppm reading almost immediately on its own. The downsides are the need to add a little every other day to maintain a proper ppm level or it will give off a scent. It also is only effective in the low pH range compelling you to keep your pH level between 6.8 and 7.0. It is ineffective at high pH levels.

Why Use Spa Activator
“SpaEase Activator” acts as a shock treatment by oxidizing organic matter and contaminants. It makes both chlorine and bromine more effective and minimizes the amount and frequency of their use. It also activates any Chloramines suspended in the water that are often the root cause of unwanted water scent. Spa Activator is not a sanitizer on its own and requires a certain level of chlorine or bromine to disinfect and kill bacteria.
